Day 6 of BM#5 by Srivalli and i was wondering what i would cook. I was sort of blank,then when i looked up the freezer, saw a packet of sweet corn. Well now i knew that corn chat would suit the theme.:-)These bread cups are very easy to make and with less or no effort at all. You could make these bread cases in advance and store them in air tight containers.
INGREDIENTS

Fresh Bread 12 slices
Sweet corn 1 cup
Onion 1
Cheery tomatoes few
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tsp
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Butter 2tbsp
PREPARATION
Cook the corn (either in microwave or cooker0
Cut the onions finely
Chop the cherry tomatoes into two each
In a pan, heat the oil and saute the onions till they turn transparent. Now add the cooked corn and mix well.Add the salt and chat masala and stir for 1 minute.Now dunk in the tomatoes and mix well. Switch off the heat and keep aside.
Preheat the oven to 250C
take the bread slices and cut a round from each. I used a cup to cut. you can use a biscuit cutter or simply use the kitchen scissors.
Flatten each bread round a little
Grease a muffin tray with butter.
Apply little butter on each round and press each round into a muffin cavity
Bake for 5-10 minutes to get a crispy round bread cup.
Cool and fill each cup with the corn chat
Your kid is sure to be amazed at the quickie bite!!!!!!!!!!!!
