Priya of Priya’s menu challenged me to cook a dish
with the ingredients paneer and chilli and with the theme as “Monsoon treats”.
Now who doesn’t like some hot fried pakoda or bajji during rains. Since paneer
pakoda is already featured on my blog, I decided to make this quick patties
INGREDIENTS
Paneer

cup

Maize
flour
|

tbsp

Rice
flour
|
2
tbsp
|
Green
chillies
|
2

Salt
|
To taste
|
Garam
masala
|
1/4
tsp
|
Oil
|
For
deep frying

PREPARATION
Crumble the paneer.
Chop the green chillies finely
Add all other ingredients
Now knead it together. Add just enough water to hold
Make small patties and keep aside
Heat oil in a pan and sufficiently hot, fry some
patties tighter
Flip them over once the colour changes to golden
brown
Fry on the other side too
Drain them on an absorbent paper
Serve warm with tomato ketchup or chutney of your
choice
