Kadalebele kosambari


Kosambari features in Karnataka thali most of the times. We can make kosambari with moong dal and bengal gram dal too.Here is the recipe for a tasty quick kadabele kosambari.
INGREDIENTS
Bengal gram dal/Kadale bele
1/2 cup
Green chillies
2
Coconut
2 tbsp
Lemon
1
Cucumber
1 small
Salt
To taste

PREPARATION
Soak the dal in water for  an hour or more
Drain it completely
Transfer this to a mixer jar. Add chillies to it
Cut the cucumber into small pieces and keep aside
Grind the dal very coarsely. I would suggest that we run the mixer in pulses.
Transfer it to a serving bowl. Add the cut cumber, salt and lemon juice.
Mix well and serve immediately

You should add the salt and cucumber just before serving as it tends to ooze out the water
