Z, Zuchinni was the obvious choice and as a friend pointed out to me,
Zucchini is not an Indian vegetable, then how would it feature in a tamil
cuisine??Well zucchinii isn’t but thair pachadi is!!Right?And I could always translate the name using google which says it is Seemai Soraikai. So here is another
adapted recipe to suit the A-z challenege. Thank you Valli for making all this
possible. It was fun blogging and chatting with our Bm group J
INGREDIENTS
Zucchini

powder

½ tsp

Asfoetida

tsp

Mustard
|
1tsp

Yogurt
|
1cup

Salt

PREPARATION
Remove the skin of zuchinni.
Grate it finely
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and saute this grated
vegetable till the raw smell goes off
Switch off the fire
Mix in 1 tsp of chilli powder and the necessary salt
and asafoetida.
Now mix the yogurt and mix well.
Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds. Once it
starts spluttering, pour this into the prepared thair pachadi
Serve cold
