Lemon Pickle / Elumichai Urugai


Pickle season again. This is a recipe given by my mother and is a no fail recipe. Perfect combination with curd riceJ
INGREDIENTS
Lemon pieces
5cups
Salt
1cup
Chilli powder
1 cup
Turmeric powder
1tbsp
Fenugreek powder
1tsp

PREPARATION
Cut the lemon into 8 pieces. Measure it
Mix everything in a clean dry vessel.
Squeeze the juice of 15 lemons, mix well
Keep mixing every day.
Store it in an airtight Jadi/Porcelain jar with a tight lid
Once a month mix everything again.

This pickle remain good for over an year
