Fresh Tuvar Curry

Fresh tuvar is generally available in this season. We use fresh tuvar to make pulav and curry. Here is an easy curry , which can be cooked in a pressure cooker and can be served with any Indian bread.
INGREDIENTS
Fresh Tuvar
2cups
Onion
2
Tomato
3
Green Capsicum
1
Oil
1tbsp
Cumin seeds
1tsp
Coriander powder
2tsp
Turmeric powder
1/8th tsp
Garam masala
1tsp
Chilli powder
11/2 tsp
Water
1 cup
Salt
 To taste
Coriander
 For garnishing

PREPARATION
Cut the onions, tomatoes and the capsicum finely.
Heat oil in a small pressure pan. When sufficiently hot, add the cumin seeds. When it starts to sizzle, add the cut onions and saute till it becomes transparent.
Now add the capsicum and cook for 2 minutes in medium flame.
Add the tomatoes, chilli powder, garam masala , coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Now add the fresh tuvar and water. Mix well. Close the lid of the cooker , put the weight on and cook up to 4 whistles.

Switch off the fire. When it cools completely, mix well garnish with coriander and serve with roti.
