Savoury semolina vegetable bake

For the final bake of this week is a savoury semolina vegetable cake. I had bookmarked this from PJ’s blog and as she rightly said, it is a baked upma with a little different texture though. This has all the goodness of the veggies and the look and taste of a quick bread
INGREDIENTS
Semolina
1cup
Water
1cup
Whole wheat flour
1/2 cup
Curd
1 cup
Onion
1
Green capsicum
1
Beans
4-5
Carrot
1
Peas
1/4 cup
Ginger garlic paste
1tsp
Chillipowder
1tsp
Baking powder
1tsp
Turmeric powder
1/8tsp
Mustard
1tsp
Cumin seeds
½ tsp
Oil
2tsp
Salt
to taste


PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 190C
Cut all the vegetables finely
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they start spluttering add the cumin seeds.
Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 minute
Add cut onions and saute till it becomes transparent
Now add all other cut vegetables and saute for few minutes
Switch off the fire and let it cool completely
Soak the semolina in the water for 15 minutes
In a bowl add the wheat flour, baking powder, salt, chilli powder and turmeric. Mix well
Now add the sautéed vegetables, soaked semolina and curd to this, Mix well
Pour this into a well-greased bread mould
Bake for 45 minutes

Serve warm!!
