Onion Pakoda In Philips Air Fryer

I had been seeing these advertisements of Philips air fryer but resisted the idea of buying one more gadget but not for longJ.After taking to few of my friends decided to go ahead with the purchase and since have been cooking in this medium almost daily. The theme that i will blog about this week for BM#46 is Car snacks.So here is one quick snack which suits most of our road travels , tasty ,less messy and most important from now is that it is healthy too
INGREDIENTS
Gram flour
1 cup
Rice flour
1/4 cup
Oil
2tsp
Onion
4
Green chillies
2
Coriander
1tbsp
Ajwain
1/4tsp
Turmeric Powder
1/8th tsp
Chillipowder
1/2tsp
Salt
To taste

PREPARATION
·       Slice the onions finely.
·       Chop the green chillies into small pieces
·       Cut the coriander finely
·       Mix gram flour and rice flour in a bowl.
·       Add oil to this and mix well
·       Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, Ajwain to this and mix well
·       Now add the onions, chillies and coriander to this and mix well
·       Add FEW DROPS of water only and mix well so that we get the required consistency.(Should not be runny)
·       Make small even sized balls
·       Preheat the fryer to 200 C for 5 minutes
·       Place the balls in the wire mesh and fry for 8 minutes

·       After 6 minutes take it out and shake the mesh tray so that we get an even browning
·       If you think it needs more cooking, cook it for 2 minutes more at the same temperature
·       Serve warm

THERE IS NO COMPROMISE ON THE TASTE
YOU GET A PERFECT TEXTURE

THE BIGGER BALLS HAD A SLIGHTLY RAW FLAVOUR INSIDE BUT THE SMALLER ONES WERE PERFECTLY MADE.
