Kadai Paneer with Gravy



 Another favorite side dish of my daughter. Paneer is so versatile and can be cooked in so many ways and this is one such paneer dish which will never fail you.
INGREDIENTS
Paneer                  200 gms
Capsicum             1/2 cup
FOR THE FRESH MASALA
Red chillies    4
Corainder seeds   3 tsp
Dry roast both and grind it into powder.
FOR THE GRAVY
Onion                         2
Tomato                      4
Tomato Puree            2tbsp
Green chillies            2
Ginger garlic paste   1tsp
Garam masala          1tsp
Kasuri methi            1tsp
Salt                           to taste
Oil                            1tbsp

PREPARATION
Cut the onions and tomatoes finely
Chop the capsicum and paneer into small cubes
Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and saute till it becomes transparent
Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.
Now add the fresh ground masala and saute till a lovely aroma comes out
Time to add the chopped tomatoes, mix well and continue to cook in low flame till the oil is seen floating(approximately 5 minutes)
Now add the tomato puree,green chilles and 1/2 cup of water and let it cook for 3 minutes in medium flame
Now add the cut capsicum, garam masala and salt. Mix well, close with a lid and cook in low flame for 3 minutes
Now add the kasuri methi, mix well
Add the paneer, mix well cook for 3-4 minutes
Serve warm with roti of your choice
