For the second week of Blogging Marathon it is Gourmet Gravies.This side dish has all the richness of the paneer and basic red gravy.
INGREDIENTS
Paneer 200 gms
Fresh tomato Puree 3 cups
Cardamom 3
Cinnamon 1" stick
Cloves 3
Garlilc 3 cloves crushed
Ginger 1tsp chopped
Green chilli 2 chopped
Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1tsp
Kasuri Methi 2tsp
Honey 2tsp
Milk 2tbsp
Fresh cream 3tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
PREPARATION
Cut the paneer into small cubes
Heat oil in a pan, add the cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, garlic, ginger and saute till a nice flavour emanates.
Now add the green chillies and saute for a minute
Add the tomato puree to this and continue to cook till it slightly thickens
Add the red chilli powder, garam masala, kasoori methi, honey and salt and let it cook for few minutes
Meanwhile shallow fry the paneer pieces
Add the fried paneer to the prepared gravy and cook in a low fire for few minutes
Add the milk and cream, mix well and serve hot with chapathis
