This is one of the sweets that i prepare during the festivals. Loved by kids because it gives such a delicious chocolaty feel. This can be prepared on the stove top too but I feel it is much less hassle to prepare it in microwave.
Milk powder 1/2 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Butter 1 1/2 tbsp
Water 1/4 cup
Sieve the milk powder and cocoa together
Heat the sugar and water for 4 minutes, in Micro High Mode. Test for soft ball consistency(Put a little of the syrup in a cup of water. You should be able to just roll it). Once the consistency is reached, remove the sugar syrup from the microwave oven, add the butter and mix very well
Now mix in the the dry ingredients, mix vigorously and then transfer it to a greased plate
Let it cool and then cut into squares.
