Here is another quick sweet which can be prepared during festivals and kids will definitely love it.I had bookmarked this recipe from Sapana and made it super quick as an extra sweet during diwali. My Fussy nuts averse daughter and even more fussy niece loved it. Try this out. It is super easy and super tasty:-)
Recipe Source:Cooking with Sapana
Dried Nuts 1 cup
Pitted Dates 1 cup
Clarified Butter 2tsp
Dessicated coconut 1/4 cup
Dry roast the butter in a pan, cool it completely and grind it into a coarse powder.
Pulse the dates in a food processor .
Heat the clarified butter in a pan for 20 secs, then add the Pulsed date, mix well and cook for 1 minute
Now take this out and mix in the nut mixture and knead well
Now pinch small balls and make it into ladoo's
Roll these cute ladoos in the dessicated coconut .
Store in air tight container
