For this month of
PPCS, I am paired with
Mon sg and she had brought the bottle gourd leaf chutney and since I could not get any bottle gourd leaf, she suggested I cook it with Banana peel instead. To make more healthier I added a handful of curry leaves to the same to make a very lovely chutney
INGREDIENTS
Raw Banana peel of 2 bananas
Garlic 2 cloves
Green chillies 2
Curry leaves handful
Oil 2tsp
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
PREPARATION
Steam the plaintain in the cooker
Chop the two ends, remove the peel and keep aside
Now Grind the steamed peel with garlic , green chillies and curry leaves into a smooth paste adding 1 tsp of water
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and when it starts to splutter, add the ground paste and saute for 5 minutes in low flame
Switch off the fire and serve it
NOTE: I have used Raw banana peel instead of bottle gourd leaves

Since I did not have Kalonji, have used mustard seeds instead
