Broccoli pulao

For the third of mess free tiffin box , it is a pulao with lots of green veggies like broccoli and green peppers. Good way to include the veggies and a filling lunch too.
INGREDIENTS
Basmati rice      1 cup
Onion.                1
Brocolli               1
Cumin seeds.        1 tsp
Cardamom.           2
Clove                     2
Bay leaf.                  1
Green chillies.          2
Water.                        2 cups
Garam masala.           1tsp
Ginger garlic paste.     1tsp
Oil.                               1tbsp
Lemon.                         1
Salt.                               To taste
PREPRATION
Wash and soak the rice for 20 minutes
Cut the broccoli into florets
Slice the onions thinly
Cut the green pepper into small pieces
Heat the oil in a pressure pan
Add the cumin seeds and when it starts to sizzle, add the cardamom, cloves, bay leaf and sauté for a minute
Now add the onions and sauté till it turns transparent
Now add the ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute
Now add the green chillies,green peppers and broccoli and sauté for 1 minute
Now add the rice, water, salt, garam masala lemon juice,and mix well
Close the pressure pan, put the weight on and cook upto 3 whistles.
Let the pressure subside and fluff it up with a fork
Pack it in the tiffin box and wait for your kid to return and tell you as to how good the lunch was
