Thw whole masala which we use for flavouring is called as Khada Masala and the rice cooked with these masala will definitely be very flavourful.Pair it with any side dish and you will have a very delicious meal.Here is the recipe from
Jagruti's space and I am cooking her
Khada Masala Bhaat for The PPCS
INGREDIENTS
Basmati Rice 1cup
Whole Spices 2 tbsp(Cardamom, clove, Pepper,cinnamon and bay leaves)
Cumin seeds 1tsp
Red chillies 2
Ghee 2tbsp
Fresh corinader 1tbsp
Salt to taste
PREPARATION
Soak the rice in water for 10 minutes. Drain and keep aside
Heat the ghee in a pressure pan.
When it is sufficiently hot add the the whole masala's and saute for 1 minute
Now add the cumin seeds and continue to saute for 1 minute in low flame
Now add the rice and mix well and saute for few second
Add 2 cups of water and salt.
Mix well, close the lid and pressure cook upto 3 whistles.
Serve hot with a side dish of your choice!!
