Paneer Mirch Masala

Today being the third day under the theme of Main course of Blogging Marathon#31,This is a simple yet a dish full of flavour -Paneer mirch masala. My daughter loves paneer and it tastes very good with this combination
INGREDIENTS
Paneer          200gms
Onion           2
Tomato         3
Green capsicum  1
Cashew        10
Milk             2 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste  1tsp
Green chillies            2
Cumin seeds             1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder    1/4 tsp
Chilli powder          1 tsp
Coriander powder    2tsp
Cumin powder          1 tsp
Garam Masala          1tsp
Kasuri Methi             1 tsp
Salt                          to taste
Oil                           1Tbsp
PREPARATION

Soak the cashew in warm milk for 10 minutes
Grind it along with the milk into a smooth paste
Cut the onions, tomatoes, green chillies and capsicum into small bits
Heat the oil in a pan, and add cumin seeds. When it starts to sizzle add the cut onions and saute till it becomes transparent
Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute. Next add the green chillies and saute well.
When a good flavour starts to emanate add the the cut tomatoes,continue to cook in low heat,
Put the turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and cumin powder and salt
Mix well and continue to cook  till the tomoatoes become mushy
Now add the cashew paste and mix well and continue to cook
Dunk in the cut capsicum, mix well and close with a lid and cook for 1 minute
Now add the paneer pieces and mix well so that the pieces are very coated with the masala, add 1/2 cup of water, sprinkle garam masala and kasuri methi and cook in very low flame till everything comes together in a nice creamy gravy
Serve warm with roti/Phulka
