It has been a very long time since I blogged and what better way to come back to blogging than be a part of Blogging Marathon
!!!For this week I have chosen the theme Microwave cooking.
Do you also have a sweet tooth just like I do? Then this is the easiest way to take care of that or even serve it to guests who turn up unexpectedly.
Rava/Sooji 1 cup
Sugar 1 1/2 cups
Water 1 1/2 cup
Ghee 1 Tbsp
Cardamom powder 2 pinches
Kesari a pinch
Take 1Tbsp of ghee in a MICROWAVE SAFE bowl. Add the cashew to cut. Heat it for 1 MINUTE.Take it out. Remove the fried cashews from it and transfer it to a plate. Let it rest.
Now in the same ghee add the Rava and mix well. Let it cook for 1 MINUTE IN HIGH MODE. You will see that it has roasted well. Transfer this to another plate and let it cool.
Now add the water, sugar and cardamom powder to the bowl ,mix well and cook it in MICRO HIGH mode for 2 MINUTES
Add the roasted Rava and kesari powder to this mix well and cook for 5 minutes in HIGH mode and covered with a micro safe plate
Mix in the and fried cashew. Mix well.
Let it rest for 1 minute and then serve.
Be proud that you have cooked delicious Kesari in few minutes without much hassle!!!I would say be proud of your Microwave:-)
