Mint Squash and Lemon Mint cooler

Whenever we organize a get-together or a party at home, we need welcome drinks and if it is in summer a cold delicious drink would be very nice. I make this squash regularly and the concentrate is refrigerated and is very handy either as a welcome drink in a part or when you have unexpected guests. This drink is very refreshing and definitely my daughter and her friends love it when they have a party at home here
Fresh chopped Mint Leaves    1 cup
Sugar                                      1 1/4 cup
Water                                      1 cup
Salt                                          a pinch
Citric acid                                 1 tsp
Green colour                            a pinch (optional)

Wash and chop the mint leaves
Heat water with sugar ,salt and citric acid till it boils
Add the mint leaves and take it off the fire
Keep closed for 1 hr
Cool and pass through a sieve
Add food colour. Mix well
Fill in sterilized bottles in the refrigerator
Dilute 1 part of concentrate with 3 parts of chilled water. Squeeze half a lemon to it. Toss in ice cubes and serve in tall glasses
