Eggless Cheddar Cheese Biscuits

When I was blog hopping , i came across these savoury biscuits from Uma's blog and had bookmarked them. For this week of Avant Garde Cookies, When Anusha of Tomato Blues told me the secret ingredient as Cheese, I knew i would bake this:-)
All purpose flour   1 cup
Cheddar cheese     3/4 cup
Milk                     2-3 tbsp
Softened butter     4 tbsp
Olive oil                1tbsp
Baking Powder      1tsp
Baking soda          1/4 tsp
Pepper powder      1/2 tsp
Sugar                   1/4 tsp
Slat                      1/4 tsp
Preheat the oven to 200C/400F
Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar and pepper powder evenly
In a bowl add the softened butter, cheddar cheese, olive oil and mix well.
To this mixture slowly add the dry flour mixture  and mix well.
You can now add the milk to form a soft dough.Knead it very lightly.
Grease a baking tray with butter
Pinch small balls out of this soft dough and flatten a littl
Arrange each of these few inches apart.
Bake for 15 minutes(Te lower portion starts to brown)
Let it cool on a wire rack
Store in air tight container
Serve these yummy flaky biscuits with a soup of your choice
