For the second day of 
Blogging marathon#20, with the theme of "Chaturthi special",it is the savoury mini kozhukattai today.Here the covering dough is made into very smalls balls , steamed and then mixed with a savoury paste.
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE MINI KOZHUKATTAI
Rice flour  1 cup
Water      1 cup
Salt     1/2 tsp
Oil     2 tsp
FOR THE SAVOURY PASTE
Urad dhal       1/2 cup 
Green chillies    2
Coconut scrapping    2-3 tbsp
Lemon   juice               2tsp
Salt                        to taste
 FOR THE TEMPERING
Oil    1 tbsp
Mustard seeds    1 tsp
Black gram dhal    2 tsp
Asafoetida        1 tsp
Green chillies   2 (chopped)
Black gram dhal    1 tsp
Curry leaves     few
 PREPARATION
 
 
FOR THE KOZHUKATTAI
Take a microwave safe bowl. Add water, salt and oil to it. Close with a 
microwave safe lid and microwave it on HIGH for 2 minutes.
Remove
 the lid and add the rice flour and mix thoroughly without lumps.Close 
with the lid and again microwave it for 1minute in MEDIUM HIGH mode.
Take it out and see if all the moisture is absorbed or else cook for another 30 secs
I HAVE USED MICROWAVE COOKING FOR THIS PART. YOU CAN ALSO USE THE TRADITION WAY OF DOING THIS IN THE STOVE TOP MODELet it cool. sprinkle a little water  and knead into a smooth dough.
Make small, tiny balls and keep aside.
You
 can steam them in the microwave itself or steam it in the stove top 
mode.I use the stove top method to steam and steam it till cooked(7-10 
minutes)

FOR THE PASTE
Soak the black gram dhal in water for 1 hour
Drain all the water and cook it in cooker upto 3 whistles or till done
Grind it into a coarse paste along with chillies, salt.. 
Add oil in the frying pan.
Add the mustard and when it splutters add the green chillies, dhal, curry leaves and asaforida
Now add the groung paste to this and saute till it becomes a little dry.Squueze the lemon into this and mix well.
Add the steamed mini kozhukattai to this,and mix well.
Sprinkle the coconut on this , mix and serve
