Hi
Another very delicious Paneer Gravy which goes very well with rotis is Paneer Pasanda. It was definitely my family's Pasanda:-)
INGREDIENTS
Paneer 1 cup(cubed)
Chilli Powder 1 tsp
Yogurt 1/4 cup
Fresh Cream 2 tbsp
Garam Masala 2 tsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Boiled onion paste
Brown Onion Paste
Salt to taste
FOR THE Boiled onion Paste
Onion 1 cup(sliced)
Water 1 cup
For the Brown Onion Paste
Onion 1 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp
Cashew handful
PREPARATION
Slice the onions, boil it in enough water till it becomes soft. Cool it and grind it into a smooth paste
Saute the onions for the brown paste till it starts to brown. Add cashew, ginger garlic paste and grind it into a smooth paste
Heat a pan, add oil and add the boiled onion paste. Saute it well in a very low flame for 3-4 minutes.
Now add the brown onion paste, Mix well and continue to saute for 3 minutes
Add chilli powder, garam masala and mix well. Now slowly add the yogurt and mix well. Let it cook for 5 minutes and the yogurt mixes well with the gravy.
Now add the salt and cubed paneer pieces. Mix well. Cook for 7 minutes till the paneer absorbs the flavours
Just before serving add the fresh cream
Serve hot with any roti......
This will be definitely your Pasanda too
