Guest Hosting An Event"-Cooking With Left Overs-Kitchen Chronicles"

Hi
Starting this new year with another guest hosting. Kalyani of sizzling Tastebuds has started Kitchen chronicles and the theme for the month of January is COOKING WITH LEFT OVERS.I am sure with a lot of festivities and partying you are left behind lot of food and groceries which we definitely will not like to find its way to the bin. This post and event is all about the extra food which you have cooked and stored carefully and would love to give a make over and use it differently. There may be times when u cooked some extra vegetables, more chapathis, lot of chutneys, more dal, lovely grilled vegetables and much more.....Do you carefully use it again or just let go all the hard earned money and the untiring effort that you put behind to create it.Think of all the possible ways that you will be using it in your daily menu taking care that the nutrients are not lost.
I had a lot of chocolate cake left behind after serving Black forest cake and I was sure no one would eat the same cup cake again so made up this trifle!!!!
