Hi
Another Savoury bake!!!!I had this recipe in my drafts for over a month now, so decided today was its day:-)I am sure my readers are bored with sweet bakes:-)Well... These buns are so soft, fluffy and very tasty. This recipe is definitely a keeper
INGREDIENTS
Instant yeast 2 1/4 tsp
Warm Water 1 cup
Sugar 1 Tbsp
Salt 3/4 tsp
Yogurt 4 Tbsp
Olive Oil 2 Tbsp
All purpose flour 2 1/4 cup
Onions 1/2 cup(chopped fine)
Green Chillies 2 chopped fine
Fresh Coriander 1 Tbsp(chopped)
Grated carrot 1/4 cup

PREPARATION
Mix the instant yeast , sugar and warm water in a bowl and let it froth for 10 minutes.
Now add salt, yogurt and oil to this. Mix well.
Add the flour slowly to this and stir with a wooden spoon.
Now when all the flour has been mixed, add the cut onions, chillies, coriander and carrot and mix well. This forms a very sticky dough
Now transfer this to a well oiled bowl and cover it with a kitchen towel and let it rise for 45minuts-1hour. It will double in volume with this resting period
Grease the muffin tray well.
When the dough has doubled spoon the dough into the muffin moulds filling only halfway
Keep these trays in a warm place to double again.(35-40 minutes)
Preheat the oven to 205C.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes in the same pan and then cool further on wire rack.
Unmould and serve with a cup of warm Tea!!!!
NOTE
If you have some dough left, refrigerate it and use it the next day.
