Kadai Paneer

Another Colourful curry to entice your kiddo:-).I am sure all my readers by now know that my kid loves paneer in any form. So here is another Paneer gravy which she loves and am sure most kids do. It has got a lovely colour, texture and taste.Very easy to prepare and easier to finish it as well...:-)
INGREDIENTS
Onion 2 (big)
Tomato 2
Green capsicum 1
Green chilli 1
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Tomato puree 2tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1-2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 2 tsp
Garam masala 2 tsp
Kasuri methi 1 tbsp
Oil 2-3 tsp
Salt to taste
PREPARATION
Dice the onions and grind it along with the green chillies into a smooth paste.
Grind the tomatoes separately into a smooth liquid
Cut the paneer into small cubes
Heat a pan with the oil. When sufficiently hot, add the cumin seeds.
When the seeds sizzle, add the ground onion paste and fry well till its colourchanges to light brown and the raw smell disappears.
Now add the turmeric and chilli powder. Saute well.
Time to add the tomato paste. Mix well.Cook it on medium flame for 5 minutes.
Now add the coriander, cumin powder and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add the tomato puree, mix well and cook further for 2 minutes
Dunk in the cut capsicum and the paneer.
Add kasuri methi and garam masala.Cook on a very low flame for 10 minutes .
Serve with a bread of your choice
