Moving ahead with my Colourful posts on Blogging Marathon,today's post is another colourful dry curry. This is cooked in microwave, so very easy and fast to cook and tasty too.Purple cabbage has a wonderful colour.
Purple cabbage 1
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Black gram dhal 1 tsp
Green chillies 1
Oil 1 tsp
Coconut Scrapping 3 tbsp
Cut the purple cabbage into small bits or thinly shred it.
Transfer this to a microwave safe bowl, close it with a microwave safe lid and cook it in high for 5 minutes.
Heat oil in another wide bowl and heat it for 1 minute in Micro-high.
Add mustard, black gram dhal and heat again for 1 minute.Now the mustard starts to splutter. Add green chilies and cook for another minute.
Now add the cooked puple cabbage to this, mix well and add salt. Mix again and cook for 2 minutes in Micro High (not closed)
Let it stand for 2 minutes.
Add coconut and mix well.
Serve with Sambhar rice or another other rice Variety
