Time for another Blog Hop wednesday!!Today I am paired with Deepali of Confusion cook. Since i am running a Baking Marathon for the whole of this month , I decided to try a cookie recipe from her blog. Deepali has an amazing space with lot of eggless recipes, as usual I was confused but decided finally on this cookie recipeI have already baked Oats Raisin Cookies and Florentine cookies....this is another variation of the yummy oats cookies
INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour 1 cup
Rolled oats 1/2 cup
Butter 1/2 cup
Sugar 1/4 cup
Brown sugar 1/4 cup
Vanilla extract 1tsp
Baking powder 1tsp
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon Powder 1tsp
Semolina 4tbsp
Chocochips 1/2 cup
Milk 1 tbsp(optional)
PREPARATION
Sift together flour,baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder.Mix Oats and Semolina to this.
Beat butter and sugar till creamy.Add vanilla and beat again
Mix the dry ingredients to this and knead it into a dough.Knead in the chocolate chips too. If the dough is very crumbly add the milk.
Refrigerate the dough wrapped in a cling film.
Preheat the oven to 180C
Pinch small balls from this dough, flatten a little and place them on a greased baking tray.
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Cool on wire rack
